Administrative Staff

  • Kristen Stevens


    Kristen joined the Judson staff as the the Director of Weekday Ministries in October 2015. Kristen was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and raised in a missionary family serving in Hong Kong. She earned her B.A. in Education from Houghton College in Upstate New York and her Master’s degree from Nazareth University in Rochester, New York. She has taught in New York, Florida, and Tennessee. 

    She and her husband, Del, were married in 1981 and together have two grown daughters, Emily (married to Austin) and Laura. They welcomed granddaughter, Lydia Grace, in 2016.

  • Michelle Bridges

    Assistant Director

    Michelle has been a PDO and a PreK teacher here at Judson Weekday.  She is excited about her role as Assistant Director. Judson Weekday has been a big part of her life since she was a high school student at Overton.  She is married to her high school sweetheart, Joe, and together they have three children ages 21, 19, and 13. She is a member of Judson Baptist Church.

    Michelle is here to assist the administrative team, teachers and parents with any need. Her favorite part of her day is getting hugs from the children.

  • Diana Ambrose

    Billing/Office administrator

    Diana teaches PDO twos. She is from Nashville (born at Baptist Hospital!) and is starting her 4th year at Judson. She is married with 3 children and 4 grandchildren. She says the best part about being a grandparent are "headlights and taillights--we love to see them come and when they leave, we can sit down and rest!" Diana teaches a ladies Life Group class here at Judson Baptist Church.

    For as long as she can remember, Diana wanted to be a Preacher's Wife. Though she dated several preachers, she didn't marry one of them! She LOVES Play-doh because it's messy and Dove dark chocolate with a glass of very cold MILK!

  • Shannon cohen


    Shannon teaches in our PDO program on Mondays and Wednesdays. She is beginning her 7th year at Judson, but children have always been a part of her life. Shannon was born in Alabama, but raised in Tennessee. She and her husband have two precious boys, ages 4 and 2 years. They attend Bethel World Outreach.

    As a child, Shannon dreamed of becoming an Olympic figure skater. Her favorite snack is a chocolate chip cookie!

  • tracy erickson

    toddlers & twos

    Tracy teaches in our PDO program Monday-Thursday. She is beginning her 10th year at Judson. Tracy was born in Birmingham, but has lived in Tennessee for 33 years. She is married to Scott and they have two grown children and one son-in-law. She also (and perhaps most importantly!) is grandmother and will welcome her 2nd grandchild in December! She and her husband attend World Outreach Church in Murfreesboro.

    Tracy has hundreds of children's books in her home. Two of her favorite art mediums are music and dance, but she will always take a break for popcorn!

  • aimee glenn


    Aimee Glenn is a fan favorite around here. She has worked with preschoolers for more than 14 years. Toddlers are her favorite age to teacher.  She and her husband, Philip, have two children that are 20 & 17 years old. Both of her children attended Judson's PDO and PreK programs.

  • wanda hamilton


    This is Wanda's first year at Judson Weekday. She comes to us with over 50 years experience as a Sunday School  and Music teacher.  She is a native Nashvillian and was born at Vanderbilt Hospital.

  • marci hutto


    Marci teaches 2 year olds Monday-Thursday in our PDO program. She is a Nashville native with four children and five grandchildren. She has taught Sunday School and VBS for forever and she sings soprano in her church choir.  Ordinarily she has a HUGE stack of children's books in her home, but she recently moved and gave them all away!

    When she was younger, she wanted to build tree houses for a living. She loves helping children create paper bag puppets--their creativity comes alive! Her favorite snack is fruit.

  • Heather killebrew


    Heather is in her 4th year here at Judson. She grew up in Marietta, GA, and attended college at OIe Miss. She worked for several years in an urban ministry in New Orleans where she met her husband. They have been married for 10 years and have 3 children. They've been in Nashville for 5 years and attend Midtown Fellowship.

    Growing up, Heather wanted to run an orphanage. She has hundreds of children's books in her home and can be won over by sour watermelon gummies.

  • Terri kinkade

    Young toddlers

    Terri loves on our babies all day in our PDO program, four days a week. She has been teaching for forever! She is a native Nashvillian and is married with 5 sons and 3 grandchildren. As a child, she wanted to be a nurse.

  • Jennifer Langley (a.k.a. Langley)

    Growing up, there were always so many Jennifers that this lady right here goes by Langley. Langley teaches in our PDO program at Judson and has been teaching for over 20 years. She was born and raised here in Nashville. She attends Tusculum Cumberland Presbyterian Church and loves to be involved in just about everything related to children that they have going on.

    Langley wanted to be a teacher and own a dance studio, which is kinda what she does now (Zumba, anyone?). She hoards children's books like crazy and tries to eat healthy, but if a Doritio or a Funyun was around, she probably wouldn't turn it down.

  • Amy lindelof

    Amy is in her 5th year teaching at Judson. She teaches the 12-18 month class on Tuesdays and Thursdays and the two year old class on Mondays and Wednesdays. She is a Nashville native and has been married to her husband for almost 19 years. She has two children, a Sophomore at Overton and a 6th grader at Croft.

    Amy loves to travel and spend time with her family and their pets.

  • Christi manlove


    Christi is enters her 28th year of teaching. She is originally from Knoxville and has 2 teenage sons, along with one 4 year old daughter who will be attending Weekday this year. She is married to Jason.

    She has always wanted to be a teacher and has 100's of children's books in her home. If you want to get on her good side, bring her some fruit and chocolate.

  • sarah mullins


    Sarah teaches in our PDO program Monday-Thursday and has been for 19 years. She is from Nashville and has been married for over 40 years. She has five children and six grandchildren, many of whom have or are currently attending Weekday. 

    Sarah has always wanted to be a teacher and has a floor to ceiling bookshelf full of children's books to prove it!

  • Jennifer becket

    Jennifer is in her 7th year of teaching and this year she's teaching 3 Day 3's. She is originally from South Texas. She and her husband, Logan, have two children and attend Fellowship Bible Church in Brentwood.

    When Jennifer was a child, she wanted to be a princess! Now she has "too many" (is that even POSSIBLE?) children's books in her home and loves a little guac with her chips (Texas Forever!).

  • mary edgeworth

    Mary teaches our PreK 3's Monday-Thursday. She has taught at Judson for 9 years. She is originally from Kentucky, but has lived in Nashville for over 25 years with stops along the way in Virginia Beach and St. Augustine, Florida. She is married and has two grown boys. She and her husband teach the Kids Christian class at church.

    Mary wanted to be a TV news anchor as a child and she loves to snack on fruit and nuts.

  • Chris fahy

    Chris is in her 2nd year at Judson, but she has taught for 28 years! She moved from Florida 26 years ago and currently lives in Fairview. She has three children (20 years and older!) and is engaged to David. When she was a child she wanted to be a teacher and she loves watercolors.

    If you want to bring Ms. Chris something sweet, bring her strawberries! She won't turn them down!

  • alice kenerson

    This is Alice's 5th year teaching in preschool but her first year at Weekday.  Prior to teaching in preschool, she worked in Williamson County School. She and her husband are proud parents of twin boys (13) and 1 daughter (16).

  • carla kirby

    This is Carla's first year with Weekday but has been teaching for more than 20 years.  She is a Nashville native.  She is a mom of the 3 children, Robert (28), Logan (26) and Jenna (23).  She got her technical degree in Early Childhood for Nashville State.

  • nancy lyle

    This is Nancy's first year at Weekday. She grew up in Nashville and went to UT in Knoxville.

    She has been married for 30 years with 3 grown daughter and 2 son-in-laws.  She has been teaching the babysitting certification class and working the family services department at the YMCA.

  • lizzy smith

    This is Lizzy's first year at Weekday.  She has worked with children in various capacities for almost 20 years.  She is originally for Virginia and went to James Madison University.  She and her husband has 3 boys and a dog.  Lizzy has worked in early intervention and preschool  with Vanderbilt, Waves and Tennessee's Early Intervention System.

  • Hannah baker

    This is Hannah's first year teaching.  She is a former student of our Weekday Program. She had Ms. Julie Jungman as a teacher.  She has recently graduated from Liberty University with a degree in Early Childhood Education and became a wife.  She is also a member of Judson Baptist Church.

  • Tama Bennett

    Tama teaches our PreK 4's Monday-Thursday. She has 24 years of teaching experience and can't pass up a good children's book when she sees one--she has over 800 at her home! She is originally from Texas, but married a Tennessee boy and moved here. Judson Baptist Church has always been their home.

    When Tama was a child, she wanted to be a Mommy. As her own girls grew up, she needed a "baby fix" and came to teach at Judson, where she fell in love with teaching. She loves a good Cherry Limeade and an Almond Joy.

  • betsy dakin

    Betsy teaches Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday PreK 4's. She taught Kindergarten for 5 years before coming to Judson 9 years ago. She is a native Nashvillian who had a slight detour in Ohio before attending Lipscomb for college. She is married to Mike with 3 children ages 17, 14 and 8. 

    Betsy has always wanted to be a teacher, unless gymnastics or ice skating would have worked out.

  • Lesley Eaton

    Lesley has taught 2's, PreK 3's in her time at Weekday.  Now is a PreK 4's teacher. She has 14 years of teaching experience. She has two sons, ages 15 and 12. Her family attends Tusculum Presbyterian Church and they are all very involved. 

    As a child, Lesley wanted to be a famous athlete. Her family has more than 100 books in their home and even more in her school storage room as they can't get enough! She loves free art the best (let them do whatever they want!) and has never met a snack she didn't like.

  • Susan groves

    Susan teaches Tuesday, Wednesday, & Thursday PreK 4's & 5's. She grew up in Abbeville, AL, and is married with two children. This is her 11th year at Judson! She has always wanted to be a teacher and has at least 1,500 children's books in her home.

    Susan's favorite art medium is watercolor and she loves anything salty!

  • jayna ratliff

    Jayna teaches Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday PreK 4's. This is her 8th year at Judson, but she has been teaching for 15 years. She is from Kentucky, but has been living in Tennessee for 21 years. She is married to her high school sweetheart and they have two girls currently attending JT Moore and Hume-Fogg. Her family attends Lakeshore Christian Church.

    Jayna totally wanted to be a cheerleader as a child! Today she loves strawberries and nutella and any form of painting.

  • pam seavers

    Pam teaches our five year old PreK class four days a week. She has been teaching since September 1996 and grew up wanting to take after her parents, as they were both teachers! Pam is from Lakeland, Florida, and she has a 30 year old daughter. She attends St. B's Episcopal Church.

    Pam says books are her weakness and she probably has more than 100 in her home. Watercolors are her favorite art medium.

  • Lisa burt


    Lisa is a Floater Monday-Thursday. She has been doing this important job for 4 years now. She has been married since 1999 and has four children. She attends Spring Hill United Methodist Church where she helps with the nursery, Sunday School, and VBS.

    Lisa wanted to be a veterinarian as a child and she enjoys photography.

  • Laurie ericson

    curriculum specialist

    Laurie is a Floater. She has worked at Judson in various capacities for 7 years, though if you count homeschooling her three children, she has more than 20 years of education experience! Her family attends Judson Baptist Church. Despite her children being grown, she probably has more than 100 children's books in her home.

  • Jenna Humke


    Jenna joined the Judson team as a floater in 2018 after falling in love with this school and all of the staff. She is married to Joey and has three girls (6, 4 and 2&1/2). She grew up in Liberty, Missouri and went to college at Ouachita Baptist University. Her first job was in the daycare at her local community center which was the start of her love for teaching and caring for children.  Jenna is so thankful to be apart of this amazing team!

  • Chandler Pemberton


    Chandler is a floater on Wednesdays.  This is her first year working at Judson, but her two children have attended Judson for many years. She grew up in Memphis and attended The University of Tennessee.  She has worked for Metro Nashville Public Schools as a speech-language pathologist for 7 years, but is taking a break to be home with her kids. She is married to David and they have one daughter (Leighton-5) and a son (George-2).  She attends Christ Presbyterian Church and lives in Crieve Hall.  She loves good books, UT football, and chocolate!

  • Adrienne Pettersson


    This is Adrienne's first year with Weekday.  She is a floater on Thursdays.  She has one son in the PreK program and one in the PDO program.

    Kirsten is our PreK Music Teacher at Judson and will lead our preschoolers to know and love music! She has been teaching music for more than 20 years. She also teaches a babies-four year olds class at Sound Start Early Childhood Music in Brentwood. She is from Kansas City, Missouri, but she and her husband have lived in Nashville for more than 10 years. Her children attended Judson Weekday in the past, so she already feels like a part of the family!

    Kirsten and her family attend Trinity Church of Nashville where she and her husband serve on the worship team. When growing up, she wanted to be a ballerina. She loves anything involving music and any kind of fruit, nuts, or dark chocolate.
